The natural beauty of the West Virginia mountains are the backdrop for a very relaxing vacation retreat from a fast pace lifestyle. From the backporch of the cabins you can relax and enjoy the view of the Sandstone Falls on the New River Gorge National River. For the more adventurous visitors our cabins are centrally located in Southern West Virginia with an abundance ot things to see and do.
A short distance down the road is the Sandstone Visitor Center for the National Park Service, where visitors can learn about the natural and cultural history of the New River. Bluestone State Park is located a few miles away which is adjacent to the state's second largest body of water Bluestone Lake, the area offers guests boating, canoeing and fishing opportunities. The lake provides excellent fishing for bluegill, large and smallmouth bass, hybrid bass, striped bass, crappie and catfish. Boating and water-skiing round out the lake activities. Boats and canoes may be rented at the marina. About 20 minutes away is Pipestem State Park. The park has an 18-hole par 72 championship golf course. Horse stables at the park offer guided horseback rides year-round with rides ranging from 1/2 hour rides to overnight trips.
